PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING READING
We acquire a large portion of our knowledge through reading; this makes learning to read quickly of paramount importance. Within the last millennium, there has been a complete revolution in the teaching of mathematics; instead of rules, principles are now taught and the results have been astonishing. Although many changes have been made in the teaching of reading, it is well known that there hasn't been a marked improvement in the results.
